I needed to have the current slide displayed in full screen mode on both the built-in screen, and the video projector screen for the presentations I give. I have to have the built-in screen large enough for me to read information on the slide as I’m facing the audience, with the video projector screen projected on the wall behind me. I wasn’t aware of presentation mode, so now finding out that it exists, how to deselect it, and how to present both screens with the full-screen slide is just what I’ve been looking for.
It took more than just finding out about controlling the mode of presentation though. There were some software issues that entailed switching from Leap 15.6 to Tumbleweed to use plasma 6 that enabled this to work. That, plus learning what configuration changes to make have made this a success.
