From the stack dump it is not immediately clear where the problem comes from but the fact that there is a message mentioning r8169/enp2s0 with the same timestamp gives a clear indication it has something to do with the Ethernet port.

Is the Ethernet a port on you motherboard or it is some kind of PCIe card or attached via USB?

Hi marel

I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what kind of LAN connection it is, but at least it’s not a USB connection.

My computer is a mini PC:

And here are the specs:

I have changed three different LAN cables and tested two routers (TPLink Acher 600 <-> Huawei B525), but the error always comes back after about a day. I can’t get rid of the error situation other than by rebooting.

I still have to try something like that, when the LAN connection doesn’t work, I switch to a wi-fi connection and remove the (non-working) LAN connection and a create it again.

Would there be any additional information that I could take when the problem occurs again?

You could use the r8168-kmp-default and r8168-blacklist-r8169 from the Packman Repo, that is the native Realtek Driver.

I already tried it once, but I didn’t know how to do it the right way, so the mini PC got stuck.
Could you advise me the commands, it would probably work better

I found these versions:

You can blacklist it.

Thank you very much for your help! (in Finnish: Kiitos paljon avustasi!)

Does it work?
Or does it work not?

Works just fine. I thought I’d wait a couple of days and report if there were any interruptions to the LAN connection.

Ok thanks for your comment.

No interruptions so far.
Driver r8125 works well. I’ll monitor the situation, I’ll let you know if the connection breaks in the same way as before.

r8125-kmp-default and r8125-ueficert work fine. No interruptions of any kind have occurred.
Will the programs be officially distributed later?

I think no, because of the licence …

Also the driver is inside the kernel r8169.
