The 20260611 update for Tumbleweed causes xdg-desktop-portal failure... again!

Sometime ago, another TW update had attempted to upgrade xdg-desktop-portal to a new version and that had resulted in failure since the app was producing exactly the same errors as this new update.

Jun 13 15:20:50 computer systemd[2032]: Current graphical user session is inactive.
Jun 13 15:20:50 computer systemd[2032]: Dependency failed for Portal service.
Jun 13 15:20:50 computer systemd[2032]: xdg-desktop-portal.service: Job xdg-desktop-portal.service/start failed with result 'dependency'.

Back then the developers had decided to revert the app back to its previous version so that they could find out what was causing these same errors. Can anyone explain why another faulty xdg-desktop-portal update was released please?

There is no bugreport yet. If you are affected, open a bugreport so it can get fixed. No crash or start issues of the service here.

@alexsec Hi you probably need to provide the desktop environment in use and attach the log from journalctl --no-pager -b > journal.txt
