if, since December 2024 it’s been known that SMPlayer 23.6.0-bp156.1.6 is broken and there is a working version (25.6) in Multimedia Repo, why is the ‘broken’ one still in 15.6 main repo?
and why was it Just installed on my system and not in the 30+ updates i’ve done since Dec?
solution:
additionally, at the same time 23.6.0… stopped playing, it also will not show icon in system tray.
the ‘play’ issue was resolved with version from multi-media repo, but the system tray icon has Not.
SMPlayers still will not show up in systray>configure.
Because nobody made a bugzilla report.
main repos is still 23.6…
zypper se -s ‘smplayer’
