on my leap 15.6 using KDE before this upgrade works perfectly, now upgrading to smplayer

it doesn’t works pause/play
clicking on Play>Pause works but clicking Play>Play is grey and doesn’t works.
how can I have smplayer working again?

This is a known issue. See smplayer changes.
The current version offered in openSUSE 15.6 repo is 23.6. The release notes for smplayer Version 23.12 say: Fix play/pause with mpv 0.37.
The latest Version 24.5 is offered as an auto generated package said to be suitable for openSUSE and available on their GNU/Linux download page. See smplayer-24.5.0-1.opensuse.x86_64.rpm
Your case may be different but this worked for me.
