O.S. 12.2 Clementine Gstreamer Plug-in Error

Hi. I did a complete fresh/new install of 12.2 yesterday and this morning installed Clementine. I selected the SKY.fm radio stream for jpop but got an error stating ‘Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in’.
There is no indication as to what the plug-in could be. No hints or tips at all. This effects all the radio stations but not the ‘normal’ music files - mp3 etc… Amarok plays radio stations ok using GStreamer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Can you confirm you did

Hi. No i didn’t. I thought the radio function was ‘built-in’ to Clementine and worked ‘out of the box’, thus i didn’t think i needed to add anything to it.

Thanks for the reply.

Link you provide doesn’t work…possible you can provide an updated one?? I’m currently facing the same issue after installing Clementine…

Thanks!!

The correct link is: https://forums.opensuse.org/content.php/127-Multimedia-and-Restricted-Formats-Installation-Guide-12-2But that was for openSUSE 12.2 only anyway. See the title of this thread. :stuck_out_tongue:

possible you can provide an updated one??

For 13.1 in particular have a look here which is actually an updated (for 13.1) version of the above:
