I figured that out. Trying to move forward.
I reinstalled 15.6 again, and plan on trying the migration too from that fresh install of Leap 15.6.
Curious as to why you marked post #53 of this topic as a solution, when it’s not clear that you tried it with Leap 16, or even have Leap 16 up and running yet.
Another my bad!
How do I remove the solution in post #15
Not post #15, post #53 ![]()
Same question how do I remove the ‘solution’ in #53?
I’ve done it for you.
Thanks,
Would be good to know what I did to mark it solved.
Accidentally clicking on the tick icon?

Thanks, will be more aware going forward.
So, have you tried crmrhm’s advice re upgrading to Leap 16 with the migration tool?
I have Leap 16.0 in! It will be adequate until I get the new GPU card.
CAN THIS THREAD BE PUT TO BED NOW ??
Good result Bill. Leap 16 with the nouveau driver I assume. The thread will self close with 30 days of inactivity, or you can mark the relevant post as your solution and it will close after a week of inactivity. ![]()
Thank you @deano_ferrari and @malcolmlewis for pointing out the nvidia site driver would not build (i didn’t know that since I run a more recent gpu). You avoided Bill some headaches :). Best regards.
