MacBook vertical scroll sensitivity

Hi there

I’m using my MacBook Pro 2015 A1502 with Tumbleweed and GNOME.
I’ve noticed that the vertical scroll sensitivity of the trackpad is very heigh.

In the settings of GNOME / Tweaks there is just a option to customize the sensitivity of the trackpad in general, but not the scroll sensitivity.

After a short look up in this forum I’ve found only a solution for synaptic trackpads:

Is there also a solution for the Apple MacBook trackpad available?
I would like to reduce the sensitivity.

Thanks in advance. :lizard:

To start with, could you please share the output of
sudo libinput list-devices
Then we can see what is possible with libinput.

This may be helpful to your trackpad situation:

This may also be helpful to you:

I don’t own such hardware to test with, but hopefully you’ll be able to try it and see whether it helps to provide an acceptable means to adjust vertical edge scrolling speed.
