After yesterday suse update (I think 20240621 or 20240622) KDE/Plasma6 does not restore previous session applications on start any more. What is the problem? How to fix?

Yes, I remember more of these threads here in the forums. Seems that it happens only once.
The issue was fixed upstream (487912 – plasma X11 session is not restored after logout/login) and backported to TW with version plasma6-workspace-6.0.5-3.1.x86_64. According to 1226110 – After plasma upgrade sessions are no longer saved and restored when logging out, however, it is not solved for everybody. Plasma 6.1 might be delivered with TW20240622, if it passes openQA, which hopefully solves the issue.
