How to mount a usb stick in Kconsole

Sorry i could not sleep
I guess this line zypper in -f nvidia-driver-G06-kmp-default should solve the issue.

Leap 16 has waylon drivers and no yast anymore does this mean no more nvidia for opensuse. Then i cannot do blender 3d work rendering.
Thank for al the help.

@anton of course there are Nvidia drivers… Cockpit and Myrlyn are the newer tools for package and system management…

Thanks then I have to wait for leap 16 comes out.

@anton It Leap 16.0 went from Beta Phase to Release Candidate Phase today…

Can you upgrade leap 15 .6 with leap 16

@anton See https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:System_upgrade_to_Leap_16.0

There will be an upgrade path, possibly via a migration tool available in beta version here
More details here

Thanks .
Luckely I had a image backup from Mai 2025 which I could restore then did a yast software package update which went good as expected. But when I want to shutdown the PC it hangs on 23 seconds after 1 hour I did a hard hard reboot.
And the resolution was again wrong. Also just one monitor.
So I decide to type in Kconsole : sudo zypper in -f nvidia-driver-G06-kmp-default .
Which went good I then could restart the pc, and all was looking good.
I am now making a new image backup with clonezilla.
Then I will test if opensuse leap 15.6 is still working.
But there goes definitely something wrong with the nvidia driver.
Thanks for all the help Happy Blending

Yes opensuse leap 15.6 now still works.
Thanks for all the help.

I’ve done it 6 times so far.

Good to hear but the release candidate is just one day old.

Upgrade to leap 16.
3rd-party repositories (e.g. OBS, Packman) can cause issues during migration.

3rd party repos are not ready until release, generally.

Is there some point to these comments?

We don’t generally do either. It will self-close with inactivity.

Oke then i will wait unitil relase generaly no problem

Is there a point to yours? Stop doing this. Adds nothing, has no value, and is not helping new users.

This is true with any migration. Generally speaking it is advisable to disable 3rd party repos before a migration, do the upgrade to the new version using standard repos only, then enable 3rd party repos again (after proper editing of their URLs) and switch packages as needed.
