How to change just some icons in theme

Have used this to fix my issue with the breeze dark (well, installed a new theme…), but, is there a way for me to still use the Breeze Dark theme, but just change some of the icons (specifically, those used by Krusader for directories/toolbars etc.)
Believe would have to copy the Breeze Dark icon directory to /home/me/.local/share/icons… , but where to from there? How do you find the specific icons required, etc

Create a new iconpack and use “inherits” to use breeze-dark icons without having to copy it

Name=ICONPACK NAME
Comment=ICONPACK DESCRIPTION
Inherits=breeze-dark,hicolor

Thanks, but, is there a page somewhere that explains how to set that up?
I know NOTHING… (well, very little - don’t understand how the whole theme thing works…)

Use a template, you can make it based off another iconpack
