i am thinking to switch to aeon but it is under development so if i install microos with gnome can i rebase to aeon??
i am on fedora silverblue.

and what is the static difference between this two except i think one will show aeon and other microos.

@olumolu Hi and welcome to the Forum
The only reason it’s not “released” as still waiting for open QA tests to be created/finished, aside from that it’s very much good to go…

There is no “MicroOS with GNOME” anymore, it’s not even an option in the installer, and the patterns no longer exist.

Aeon is doing enough of it’s own thing now, that it’s extremely unlikely that there will ever be a “rebase from something else” option.

I think you are the primary dev of aeon i love your project thanks and I had a close look into it.
I am using silverblue which can easily rebased to something else. that is why i thought it can be done on aeon also which i thought a image of microos with gnome.
from kde to gnome or gnome to cosmic that is why i asked

i would like to add a feature request if you like to consider
having unified kernel image is a good security feature.

I don’t have anything to do with the development of Aeon, not directly.

Ohhh i thought you are thanks
