Zypper install libreoffice error > libQt6Multimedia6

Hello,

i’m new to openSUSE and just installed the recent Slowroll release using the 3 main repos including a few programs.

When trying to install libreoffice i get dependency error:

Problem: 1: das zu installierende libreoffice-25.8.2.2-2.1.x86_64 erfordert ‘libQt6Multimedia.so.6()(64bit)’, aber diese Anforderung kann nicht bereitgestellt werden
Nicht installierbare Anbieter: libQt6Multimedia6-6.10.0-1.1.x86_64[download.opensuse.org-oss]

Hi, welcome here !!!

Can you please show you repos? zypper lr -d
in preformatted text ( the </> in the edit window

And explain how you are trying to install libreoffice?

Slowroll has libreoffice-25.8.2.2-1.1.x86_64.rpm and libQt6Multimedia6-6.10.0-1.1.x86_64.rpm, so there seems to be something wrong with your repos (cf. @knurpht).

Thanks, here is the repo list:

I’ve been trying: zypper install libreoffice / yast software and myrlyn. All with the same output.
Slowroll ISO used for installation: Slowroll Build42.5

I’ve been trying again today and the issue resolved itself. Libreoffice is now installed.

What was causing the problem so i know what to do/not to do in the future?
My humble guess is that not all packages where built against the newest version.

Most likely not the case. Rather a mirror you hit that was not fully synced, it happens. Not much openSUSE can do about that.
