zypper dup removes kernel-devel, kernel-syms

zypper dup removes kernel-syms, kernel-devel, kernel-default-devel and installs only kernel-default. I first noticed it week or two ago. Is there any change in configuration to make it work like it did before? From my point of view its terrible - removing kernel headers for older kernels while not even installing the new ones…
Or maybe I am doing something wrong, any help is appriciated.

That was a bug in “zypper purge-kernels”, which runs on the next reboot after a kernel update.

It should be working now. But you will need to reinstall those packages (should only be needed once).

Thank you. so another

zypper dup

and the problem is gone.

Right.

The most recent update for “libzypp” fixed the problem.
