I recently did a clean install of OpenSuse 11.1 on my laptop.
When I install a package, the “Installing Packages…” status bar
remains at 0% through the install. I have to assume that the package is
installed when the mouse courser changes back to normal from busy, at
which point I have to click “Abort” to exit out of the installer.
Installed packages work however! Any idea what may be causing this?

Any Thoughts?
I am running all the latest patches/packages on OpenSuse 11.1 KDE 4.2,
yet I am still experiencing the issue where the Yast Package Install
tool has to be aborted at the completion of an install. The “Install
Packages …” progress bar never moves and consequently never reaches
100%.
