At work I use a proxy server at home I do not.
When I take my notebook home I disable the proxy configuration in Yast.
The problem is Yast software update keeps trying to use my work proxy even though it is not enabled. So I cannot do software updates at home.
How can I make Yast software update stop using the proxy?

What is the output of…?
cat /etc/sysconfig/proxy | grep ENABLED
Also, check for the content of “/root/.curlrc” file, whether present.
