YAST: failed to create encrypted password for grub2.

Hello and happy new year to all in advance.

I am trying to make a password for the grub using Yast-bootloader addon.

Now when I check the box for making a password for grub, it fails instantly saying:

YAST: failed to create encrypted password for grub2. Command output: grub2-mkpasswd-pbkdf2: error: failure to read password.
Caller: /usr/share/YaST2/lib/bootloader/grub2pwd.rb:130:in ‘encrypt’.

A bug to fix?

Do you have the latest updates? Grub2 critical patch is out for most versions.

Try test update from http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.1-test/
