Xwaylandvideobridge not found in OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Repos

Hi, I just updated to Plasma 6 and I got a notification saying there are updates available but when I click on Discover from the dock to update them I got the following error.

File ‘./x86_64/xwaylandvideobridge-0.4.0+git12-7.1.x86_64.rpm’ not found on medium ‘https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/

I’m also getting issues with some Qt applications (I checked Dolphin, Settings and Discover so far) but I think those issues might be related to the missing “xwaylandvideobridge”.

Remove your additional KDE repos and use the normal zypper dup to upgrade a Tumbleweed system.

Additionally , it is a simple repo missconfiguration. You need to add the auto refresh flag to the additional repos or do a simply zypper ref prior upgrading. You can do this via YaST → Software Repositories

This can be seen as you try to install xwaylandvideobridge-0.4.0+git12-7.1.x86_64.rpm but the mirrors already have xwaylandvideobridge-0.4.0+git12-13.1.x86_64.rpm

Thank you for your answer.

I managed to solve the issue by uninstalling Bismuth and updating xwaylandvideobridge manually (sudo zypper in xwaylandvideobridge). If you don’t uninstall Bismuth everytime you do zypper up you have plasma 5 as a dependency and will rollback your plasma 6.

Also a quick note to newbies like me. Please make sure to install every update to plasma 6 from IceWM because if you don’t sometimes your plasma session will be “restarted” (Your screen will turn black for a second and you will have to start a new session as if you just restarted PC) but the updated won’t be applied.
