I’ve been using XSET DPMS FORCE OFF for nearly a hundred years on a keyboard shortcut to manually turn my monitor off. After updating yesterday, the DPMS option has disappeared.
Where did it go and what do I use in it’s place?
Thanks for any help.

This is a pure X11 function.
The Wayland equivalent can be found in the package wlopm.
wlopm - Wayland output power management
Simple client implementing zwlr-output-power-management-v1. Helps turning off screen output e.g. laptops after closing the lid and turning it on e.g. laptops after opening the lid
Have a read.
