Probably just not designed for it, but…
Trying to use xsane to scan in a multiple pages, and would like to be able to add different sized scans/extras.
ie maybe a 5 page doco, with the first 3 pages being A4, but the last 2 being credit card size pages, but maybe front/back of the one card, and preferably be able to put them on the one page.
Just trying to work out if there is an easier way of doing it than having to scan the smaller ones first, and adding to the multipage?
Also, it seems that if you mix size of images (ie do preview of smaller and change scanned image size), it basically makes all the scans large/distorted??
Thanks.
For this type of job, mixed page sizes, combining items, and wanting control over layout, you really need to combine scanning with document creation rather than trying to do everything in the scanning tool.
Consider using LibreOffice Draw as part of the layout/publication workflow. You can insert the scans, arrange them on the page, and export to PDF.

Figured this was probably the case…
Thanks!
