System becomes unresponsive to key presses and mouse clicks (but mouse pointer still moves) for a few minutes. Not predictable, but seems to occur when working with emails in KMail, e.g. selecting a different message. Keeping top running in a Konsole shows Xorg.bin using 100% or e.g. 99.94% of CPU (once I can actually switch to the Konsole window!).
