Xen HVM Server Issue – Not Booting

Hi there all,

We need some assitance please, we are utilising Four Xen HVM domU servers, on a Xen platform. Two servers are Windows Server 2019 Datacenter Edition (17763), 64-bit and the other two servers are Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition (9600), 64-bit. One out of the four Xen servers does not boot. The server in question is one of the 2019 Datacenter servers. Boots, hits blue screen and blue screen error says INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

We are in the process of completing a migration of four servers from Cove to a Microsoft Hyper-V platform via Full server restores from Cove to Microsoft Hyper-V platform. The data is Backed up with Cove Data Protection.

Thanks for your help in advance!

With Kind regards,

Ross

Hello and welcome to the openSUSE forums.

I read your post, but failed to detect any question. Can you please be more specific of what Tumbleweed system you are asking what for?

Sorry amended to Microsoft Server

@ExtremeNeo Hi and welcome to the Forum, what operating system is running Xen… not sure why your asking about Microsoft systems in a Linux community… are all guest systems 64 bit…
