any idea?
Thanks in advance

  • alexgm24,

open a console:

su
modprobe tifm_core
modprobe tifm_sd
modprobe tifm_7xx1
modprobe mmc_block
modprobe mmc_core

Check dmesg to see if the kernel is interested in the card now.

Better late than never (maybe?)
An external USB2.0 Sitecom 6 in 1 MD-014 cardreader works perfectly.
Only about $15,- (¤15,- here in the Netherlands).
It’s a small box (8.5 x 5 x 1.5cm; 3.4 x 2 x 0.6"), so putting it in the
laptop pouch shouldn’t be a problem. The cards are presented as normal
harddisks.
