Hi, When run xbmc error acquired

params.c:OpenConfFile() - Unable to open configuration file “/home/hamed/.smb/smb.conf”:
No such file or directory

smb was disabled as default and I don’t use it, I was put the smb configure file into .smb in home but problem still exist.

Deathmachine, I have xbmc installed and I do not have a ~/.smb/smb.conf file at all (~=/home/username). I can tell you that smb refers to the file sharing used between Linux and Windows machines. If you tried to set that up, something may have went wrong. Normally, you can delete such a folder/file by using Dolphin, make sure the “View Hidden Files” is enabled. Find the ~/.smb folder and delete it and then try to start xbmc again and see if it will run now.

Thank You,

No I don’t use samba at all
