Wirelss network adaptor not supported: Hawking Tech HWU8DD

I’m new to Linux, having just installed openSuSE 11.1.

I connect to the internet via a wireless LAN using a Hawking Tech Hi-Gain USB Dish Adapter. I’ve checked out Hawking Tech’s website, but they don’t support Linux drivers. A general searching using google, yahoo!, ask, Live turned up nothing.

How do I proceed? Do I revert back to windows? buy another network device? Or can you point me in the direction of a driver that will work?
