Hi guys,
In my new netbook Samsung N150 Plus, I can’t connect to the net with wireless.
I read the tutorial “Getting your wireless to work” but there are the following issue:
When I search for the lines in the file
/var/log/boot.msg
containing the word “wireless”, I got no results.
Moreover when I search for “wireless LAN” in YaST->Hardware Information, I can’t find it.
The result is that Network Manager doesn’t recognize any wireless net.
I don’t know why it doesn’t work, in the HCL the Samsung N-series is reported as wireless-compatible.
I need the wireless to work as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You had added a " " to much before the “-” - that is why your oSUSE tries to tell you how to use that command…
By the way: You could use “copy and paste” in a terminal-emulator, too -> but use the mouse or [Control] + [v] for paste (and M. or [Control] + [c] for copy).
It was a pleasure but I did not much here (most did Greg and caf4926)
[and hopefully the tags I had added
(* bcm4313 * broadcom bcm4313 ) did at least not puzzle you ]
on HCL:Samsung laptops - openSUSE (maybe with a remark that you have a model with a broadcom wireless LAN card)
and so help other users
(and to let the manufacturers see how many people are using their devices with linux based operating systems).
Just some thoughts.
Have a lot of fun!
