Wired Network discconnected from internet when waking up from hibernate

Network is disconnected from internet when waking up from hibernate.
Ping on local network are OK
Ping to 8.8.8.8 are OK
Ping to google.com are OK
nslookup to www.opensuse.org is OK

A reboot is needed to be able to connected to internet

Any help is welcome.

Now you need to explain what “disconnected” means if everything is OK.

As said in post #1 : “Network is disconnected from internet when waking up from hibernate.”
And I got notification telling me that internet is not reachable.
And firefox cannot find google.com

just got :

  • connection eth0 deactivated
  • ip configuration was unavailable

ping and nslookup not working

wired ethernet : connected to eth0 (limited connectivity)

Looks like the gateway/modem did power down together with your computer and takes some time to come up. First the network is not up, then the Ethernet comes up but the the gateway/modem connection to the Internet is not yet up.
