wine

Hi,
I’m using OpenSuse 10.3 on GIGABYTE booktop. I installed all packages from linux dvd. I have also in the same booktop Windows 7.
I would like to use wine, which is installed.
I used su to become superuser. Then I changed the path as follows:
cd “/windows/D/prgram Files/Microsoft Games/Solitaire”
then I issued the following command:
wine ./Solitaire.exe.

I got the following messgae
err:module:import_dll Library XINPUT9_1_0.dll (which is needed by L"Z:\windows\D\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Solitaire\Solitaire.exe") not found
err:module:import_dll Library slc.dll (which is needed by L"Z:\windows\D\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Solitaire\Solitaire.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"Z:\windows\D\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Solitaire\Solitaire.exe" failed, status c0000135

I’m sure solitare is installed in the window.
Please please help with this matter.

Hmm. Well you don’t have to be super user. Second, I think the ./ in front of Solitaire.exe is what might cause it to not find the library files. try without it?

First, never, ever run Wine as root. You may have
to delete or chown your ~/.wine directory now, since it
probably contains files owned by root.

Second, Wine does not support Vista / Windows 7 solitaire
(i.e. doesn’t have XINPUT9_1_0.dll or slc.dll) yet,
see WineHQ - Solitaire 6.0 (Vista)

So better find some other version of Solitaire to play.

Please…! How desperate can you be?
You’ll find card games by the spade full in openSUSE.
