After updating from wine repository I have a problem:
mouse cursor is moving only up and left in fullscreen mode
I’ve been having the same problem. From what I’ve been told, it doesn’t seem like a major problem, but it does get annoying to say the least. Maybe after the release of the next stable Wine, they will fix the problem. I’m sure there’s a bug report on the Wine website for it, so they’re probably aware of it.
You might try setting under the device section of your xorg.conf file (Option “HWCursor” “True”). That has helped me with other programs, such as Quake 2.

It seems that the latest release has fixed the problem, at least in STEAM for me.
Hope it fixed the problem for you guys, too.
