Now I want to create a WiFi connection on it : I tried already with two TP-Link wireless USB adapters : TL-WN823N en Archer T4U. This without any success !

The first step is to check that the device is supported with a driver.

You can also watch journal logging when you first plug the device in

sudo journalctl -f

You can capture the output and post here if further help needed. If necessary, copy to a USB storage device and transfer to an internet-connected device to share that information.

If the device is not supported (no driver loaded for the device concerned) , you may need to add a suitable driver package. This thread may be of value to you…

Hi folks! I’ve just bought a wireless USB wireless adapter " TL-WN823N(EU) Ver: 3.0" (as box label ID). It was almost plug n play because I can successfully scan the ESSIDs over the air, but I can’t join any of them. I’ve tried to share my iPhone Hot Spot to test too, successfully view the ESSID over the scanning process but it still failing to join.
