Wi-Fi connection drops when plugging in Windows Mobile 5

Hello,

I’ve just installed OpenSuse 11 and just noticed the following.

When I’m connected to my Wi-Fi and then plug in my mobile phone which is running Windows Mobile 5, my Wi-Fi connection drops and Network Manager creates a connection to my phone.

If I then attempt to connect to my wireless router with the phone still plugged in from Network Manager it fails.

I don’t want this to happen, is there a way to stop this?

I also want to be able to sync the phone with contacts etc, is this possible if the “problem” I’m experiencing is stopped?

you’ll likely have to change the network settings in yast to manual connection for your phone connection
