I looked at the SDB and it seems to be geared to 13.1 and older versions. Little is said about LEAP. So, my question is: which repos do I need for zypper dup and which do I add later? Google? packman? lvdcss? Non-OSS? Debug(s)?
I pretty much ignored the instructions about the subvolumes since the first two commands yielded no results. I’m assuming that is the 13.1–> 42.1 process.
If this info is already online somewhere, could you please point me to it?
Well all active repos must point to the the 42,2 version and best to limit to the basic standard repos. add the others after the upgrade as needed
I guess I need to know which are the standard repos. I was guessing 4 of them. OSS and Non-OSS and then the update versions of each. Or is it just the two of them and go to the update repos after the install? No packman to begin with? Do I ever need De-bug?

Source and Debug repos are disabled by default and normally you don’t need it unless of course you want to debug then enable the debug repos 
I’d include the updates packman may be but my thought is to keep things as simple as possible on first pass
