Where is log out button

It’s certainly not what I expected. While I did stumble across clicking on the user account icon, and did guess at the profile icon. But that would be something I would click on it to check on my profile, to change my profile, and possibly to see if it had the messages I wrote, but not to log out. To me, my profile doesn’t relate to logging out. That would not be intuitive to me.

In the current instance, I wanted to preserve the page I was on, opened the profile on a new tab hoping it might have logout, but there was none. So therefore, I would never click on it again searching for logout. And came here looking for it.

Nope, we live in a different and strange world and I don’t know exactly when that happened. I recall way back that Bill Gates was talking about the new windows system that everything was intuitive, everything the same no matter what program you were using. Then Office something came out with ribbon bars and everything was all jumbled up where nothing was the same and nothing was intuitive.

And then someone came up with new cryptic icons that all look mostly the same with shades of gray, all flat, and some with no help tips when you hover over them and seemed to think that’s so great. So anymore, when I or someone I’m helping, can’t figure out how to do something, I go, think in the most non-intuitive way, the most obtuse way of doing it, and try that!
