If you are in runlevel 5 or to runlevel 3 what is the different:confused:

With run level 5 the older version of the drivers may currently be in use. With run level 3 they may not be in use. Having the drivers installed (when older versions are in use) may cause problems.

PLEASE next time use a better title than “what is the different”. That title could refer to a million different things. Why not say:
"run level 3 vs 5 - difference ? "

Much more succinct and much more helpful for users trying to provide support.

Please note, because we have NNTP users, changing the Title of a users post is not a solution that moderators can adopt without causing other problems. Hence its best if our members provide a good title the first time.

If you are talking about graphic drivers run level 3 does not have the
previous drivers and X-server loaded so you will not get errors or
crashes, the modules are loaded during the X-server startup.

Also while in 3 you will be able to run sax and reconfigure if needed.

When all is set you just type init 5 and hopefully all should work.

Thank you,you make me rotfl!rotfl! and I try out just about 25 min. ago with init 3,now I know what is the different.
At least 95% members incl. others they are doing very good job.Watch the new Tread.
