Hallo,

ich vesuche eine Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite auf meinem System zu verwenden. Obsbot sagt zur Tiny 2:

Unterstützt OBSBOT Tiny 2 Linux?
Ja, neben Windows und macOS unterstützt OBSBOT Tiny 2 auch Linux. Jedoch ist die OBSBOT WebCam-APP nicht mit Linux kompatibel.

Die Kamera wird erkannt ( Bus 003 Device 007: ID 3564:fef9 Remo Tech Co., Ltd. OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite ).
Ich habe testweise mal Webcamoid installiert, sehe aber nirgendwo eine Option, die Kamera einzubinden.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich weiterkomme?

Hast du schon gecheckt ob du alle benötigten v4l Pakete installiert hast? Danach war es möglich eine externe Kamera zum Beispiel in VLC als Quelle zu verwenden.

Erst einmal vielen Dank für die Hinweise.

Alle drei Programme funktionieren, wobei bei luvcview zwar ein Bild zu sehen ist, aber das Menü unten nicht benutzbar ist.

Am besten hat mir guvcview gefallen. Es zeigt direkt ein gestochen scharfes Bild, und man kann u. a. Bildrate, Auflösung und Farbmodell einstellen. Bei VLC hätte ich das auch erwartet, bin aber bisher nicht fündig geworden. Bei keinem Programm habe ich eine Möglichkeit gefunden, die Kamera so einzustellen, das sie dem Geschehen folgt, was mit der Kamera möglich sein soll. Vermutlich geht das nur mit der App, die unter Linux nicht unterstützt wird.

Das Ergebnis von zypper se -si v4l sieht bei mir ein wenig anders aus. Vielleicht ist das der Grund dafür, dass luvcview nicht korrekt funktioniert.

Ja, hatte ich gesehen, aber weiß jetzt schon, was passieren wird, wenn ich das Ding lostrete. Das wird eine Endlosnummer, und am Ende muss ich dann das System komplett neu installieren. Ich bin Experte darin, mit kleinen Fehlern/Ungenauigkeiten großen Schaden anzurichten. Geht auch ohne die Software.

Für so etwas würde ich Virtualbox nutzen.
Virtualbox installieren, openSUSE darin installieren und alles einrichten, USB-Gerät durchschleifen und Software bauen/installieren.

Wenn openSUSE system in Virtualbox kaputtgespielt, einfach löschen und wieder neu installieren…
