I’ve been trying to install several games recently and none of them have worked for various reasons, so I will be posting about each one of them individually. In this case the game is Warsow, when I run the installer I get the following error message:
dirname: invalid option -- 'b'
Try 'dirname --help' for more information.
basename: invalid option -- 'b'
Try 'basename --help' for more information.
Error: Executable for system 'i386' not found.
I have tried running it as root and as a normal user several times. Am I missing a dependency?
I would appreciate a detailed explanation of what is wrong and how to fix it (instead of just the command to fix it.) because I am a linux noob and I would like to be able to solve similar errors myself in the future.
