VLC and .iso Movies

I manufacture home DVD’s with devede. Source is .mp4, but I’m sure neither the devede software neither the source files are at issue. You see it was working and became broken.

Issue was that when it first broke some weeks back, vlc would take quite a time to load the .iso
That resolved, but an addition problem persists that was also present at first, that the menu isn’t clickable with a mouse

Now let me say, the same .iso if used in Kubuntu 14.04 with it’s vlc, works perfectly as normal.

My multimedia setup is fine

Is anyone else in a position to test this?

Well, you probably get a message like this when you run vlc in a terminal window, right?

core demux error: corrupt module: /usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/access/libdvdnav_plugin.so

Install libdvdnav4 and libdvdread4 from Packman (version 5.0.3), or do a full switch to the Packman repo, and it should work.

PS: There’s even a bug report about this:

Actually I was surprised look

I’ll try it later when I have physical access
