Visual studio code problem

Hello, I was impressed by the presentation of the new Leap 16 version. I’ve been testing OpenSUSE for years, and there are always things that work on every other Linux distribution except OpenSUSE. I find it pretentious to declare: “delivering a level of stability unmatched by other Linux distributions” or “Leap gives users, developers, and sysadmins one of the best and most reliable Linux experiences available” when a simple Visual Studio Code doesn’t work! It’s impossible to install the RPM file from the official website or in the terminal; there’s always a missing dependency that can’t be found! It’s a shame because otherwise, I love the new Leap 16, but I can’t organize my work environment like I can on Debian or Manjaro. Why is it that developers of other distributions know how to do it so it works? Visual Studio Code is, after all, a well-known and important piece of software.

“Doesn’t work” doesn’t really provide any information as to what you’re seeing.

Provide specific examples (direct terminal output is preferred), and someone can help you with the issue.

No problem here with Leap 16.0.For an easy wa to install just follow these instructions https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/setup/linux#_opensuse-and-slebased-distributions
Or use flatpak.
