Virtualization - 15.6 VB vs. Xen vs. KVM

I’m just wondering where integration technologies are at nowadays with Xen and KVM. I use the repo VirtualBox with WinXP to run old MS apps, which, when needed, can be very useful. VB integrates fairly well with graphics. Wine seems to still have trouble with win graphics. I’m wondering if I should be exploring Xen or KVM as faster/tighter/more-secure with the Linux host. My host is stock 15.5 and soon to be 15.6 (KDE) on an older HP ZBook laptop with dual graphics (Intel and dedicated NVidia).

I have the same question. I’ve used VirtualBox successfully under Windows so it might be the easiest for me to get going. When Xen said I needed to go into a different boot mode to get started, I decided that it’s not for me. KVM seems like the best choice for Linux, but the configuration isn’t going smoothly.
