VirtualBox cannot boot windows machine anymore: cannot operate in VMX mode, please disable KVM kernel extension

Hi,
a week ago I was able to boot my Windows 11 vm (VirtualBox) without problems. But as i tried it today, I just get the error message:

VM Name: Windows 11 Pro

VirtualBox can't operate in VMX root mode. Please disable the KVM kernel extension, recompile your kernel and reboot (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE).
Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
IConsole {6ac83d89-6ee7-4e33-8ae6-b257b2e81be8}

The only thing that changed was the kernel from 6.11 to 6.12 in between. I never installed or ran any other virtual machines nor did any custom kernel compilations or something like that.

This has been discussed - 6.12 kernel has it turned on by default. Linus Benedict Torvalds said it has to be on from now on and he owns the kernel code.

See this for fix:

thanks, I added the boot parameter via yast bootloader settings, and not my vm is booting again.
