Video DownloadHelper Companion install

Hi,
I use Firefox and the add-on Video DownloadHelper to download video from web sites.
Unfortunately, from Firefox version 52 one has to install Video DownloadHelper Companion to have it working.
In the page https://www.downloadhelper.net/install-coapp?version=1.2.1 there are files and an how to but not what I use to get for Opensuse Leap.

I don’t want to jeopardise my install, could you tell me how to install it?

Thanks

Your link suggests you should install the targz from the following page

TSU

You are right but is the following the good way to install it?

 **Linux targz installation**
 **targz user-wide install**
# tar xf net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.2.1-1_i386.tar.gz -C ~ # ~/net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.2.1/bin/net.downloadhelper.coapp-linux-32 install --user

**targz system-wide install**
# sudo tar xf net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.2.1-1_i386.tar.gz -C /usr/local # sudo /usr/local/net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.2.1/bin/net.downloadhelper.coapp-linux-32 install --system

Not Zypper nor Yast?

You can only install RPMs with zypper and YaST.

Try this add-on instead as it works with FF 57+, no supplementary binaries required:
