Video calling

I have been using Skype, Hangouts or Zoom for a number of years for making free video calls. I am not happy with any of them for a variety of reasons. I have seen references to similar services that do not require installation of software. Could anybody recommend such a service for me to try?

Thanks in advance.

Google Meet
Jitsi Meet

I have found Jitsi Meet the most user-friendly of the ones I have used over lockdown.

I’ve found Google Meet works.
Is written 100% in HTML5, so no installation needed just open a web browser that supports HTML5 to https://meet.google.com.
Only slight issue that needs to work is that your web browser has to know how to talk to your camera and microphone.
