I have a zfs partition which I want to use under tumbleweed. To circumvent the issue about the missing zfs support in the most recent kernel versions as described in https://forums.opensuse.org/t/zfs-on-tumbleweed-how-to-keep-a-working-kernel-version/151323 I installed the longterm kernel supported in tw.
The kernel version of the longterm kernel (6.6) is supported by zfs, but I cannot activate the zfs module with modprobe zfs, while I can activate the zfs module at the 6.7 default kernel. Is there a way to add the zfs module to the longterm kernel or is this only possible during the build process?
kernel-longterm doesn’t support KMP which the ZFS RPM uses.
