My machine has an emergency system on a HDD with Leap 42.1. Should I try an upgrade by removing the old repos and adding the new ones (that worked already from Leap 42.1 to Tumbleweed) or a new installation of Leap 42.3?
Well personally I prefer new install but a in place upgrade should work ok
Upgrade was pretty painless: 1 hour download, 16 min install and a handful of .rpmnew files. Thus I plan to upgrade other users’ machines from Leap 42.1 with in place upgrade too.
Upgrade of one machine would freeze zypper and the graphical login. Switched to tty1, killed zypper dup and restarted successfully zypper dup.
