I just installed SuSe 11.0 and tried to update and add some software. Some of the updates were not in the repository, and when I downloaded a game it does not show in the games list.

Here you will find a lot of links about adding/updating packages. If the installed program doesn’t appear in the Menu (I assume that you’ve already tried the menu search) do a simple Search for it.
