Updates for "amarok" always present?

Since I last installed openSUSE 10.3 I have received the same following four updates:

  1. amarok Amarok/yauap: Amarok only plays one playlist entry
  2. amarok Fixes to improve stability and playback with yauap
  3. hal powersave new dbus configuartion
  4. libqt4 qt3/libqt2: fixes crashes iln Qt apps during xrandr operations
When I select “install” it churns through my repositories etc. but when it moves to install the updates it does nothing. and in a few minutes the same updates are available once again? On a previous installation of suse 10.3 it did the same thing, however, it stopped sending these updates-I no not why-but it did with out ever installing to my knowledge. I don’t use Amarok and would like these updates to go away - What is causing this? And, what can I do to clear it up?

run on a root commandline once:

zypper up

which will hopefully resolve this issue.

Yep! That appears to have done it. just what did I do? could you briefly explain.

You just updated your packages with newer versions

linux-zrax:/home/remco # zypper --h | grep update
update, up Update installed packages with newer versions.
        list-updates, lu List available updates.
