Updated and now won't boot to even bootloader

Hi,

I’ve been running tumbleweed for the last two years without any problems and Tumbleweed being as good as it is, I haven’t ran into these issues or how to solve them. I updated last night, and now my computer won’t boot.

I used a usb to enter recovery, tried mounting and chrooting, to at least see if I can recover files I haven’t backed up yet so I can at least reinstall, but my home folder is empty. If anyone has suggestions to either fix the problem entirely, or to recover some of those files, then I would be appreciative.

The errors when booting are:

Blockquote
Malformed security header
Failed to read header: Invalid Parameter
Failed to load image: Invalid Parameter
start_image() returned Invalid Parameter, falling back to default loader

If you are using “btrfs” for the root file system, then you will need to mount the home subvolume before you can see the files in /home.

That worked. I can now see the contents of my /home. I should be able to copy over the files now. Thank you for your help, and quick reply.
