uninstall konqueror

I really do not like konqueror. I would rather just use dolphin and firefox. Can I uninstall it or will I run into a lot of issuses? I know a lot of stuff relies on it, thats why I ask.

no - its part of kdebase which contains the core of kde.

You could always use gnome or remove the desktop icons.

to see if a package can be removed - you can always try in yast - software management package - if there are dependencies that break it will warn you first.

What about you just ignore it and use Dolphin – or just install Nautilus into KDE (although I didn’t try that in KDE4 – see what happens)
