Uniform look and feel to desktop apps

My biggest concern right now is that I am running openSUSE Tumbleweed with the Gnome desktop and a large portion of the apps don’t carry the same look and feel. For instance, if I change the theme, firefox does not end up looking like it. Especially with dark themes. Furthermore, yast ends up looking different from the shell theme and the gtk theme.

How have you overcome this issue? Can you share your theme setups if you have achieved a good uniform look? I’m personally tired of numix and the basics.

Thanks

Greybird metatheme works flawlessly across all apps whether user or root on my setup: 13.1 with either xfce or mate. It’s in the Gnome repos. One word of caution which really doesn’t concern you but someone else may find useful: I’ve found the color scheme and oxygen icons from KDE (no matter what configs I changed) does not play well with greybird on xfce - I can’t say about mate…

Yah I suppose, kinda of boring having to use the same ones all of the time though
