I have a friend’s HP Pavilion 700, 1 GB of memory, and a DVD drive which I am trying to install the latest Tumbleweed i586 install DVD. I get a message from YAST2 saying: Unable to create repository
from URL ‘cd:/?devices=/dev/sr0’.
Details:
cd-bc76014f|cd:///?devices=/dev/sr0] Valid metadata not found at specified URL
History:
- Can’t hardlink/copy /var/adm/mount/AP_0xjob7A6/media.1/media to /var/cache/zypp/raw/cd-bc76014f9g8oa
- Can’t provide /media1./media

I’ve tried a few times saying Yes to continue but to no avail.
I’ve also tried starting the whole process over again and the same thing.
I’ve also tried a previous version which is about 15 days older. Any idea on what the problem is?
